The World Bank approved a $350-million loan to Argentina under the so-called Baker Plan, named for Treasury Secretary James A. Baker III, which is designed to help stimulate Latin American economies . . . International Lease Finance reported that it has purchased two DC-10-30 aircraft, with a spare engine and certain supporting parts, from Air New Zealand Ltd. for $60 million . . . A group including Trans World Airlines and Carl C. Icahn raised its stake in Ozark Holdings Inc. to 8.5% of the common shares outstanding . . . The parent of Pan American World Airways reported that it plans to buy Ransome Airlines, a Northeastern regional carrier, for undisclosed terms . . . Kaiser Steel said the U.S. Commerce Department found Korea and Japan guilty of selling steel offshore oil platforms at below their actual cost, thereby injuring American competitors.
