MCA paid its president about $4.5 million in 1985.

Sidney J. Sheinberg, president and chief operating officer of the Los Angeles entertainment company, received stock worth $3.975 million in addition to a salary of $509,000 in 1985, according to a proxy statement mailed recently to shareholders. MCA Chairman and Chief Executive Lew R. Wasserman, who also received a salary of $509,000, did not participate in the incentive stock plan. Frank Price, chairman of the the firm’s motion picture group, received stock worth $2.385 million and a salary of $509,000.
