4,000 Firefighters Pay Comrade Last Respects

MILTON, Mass. — About 4,000 firefighters from across New England paid final respects Monday to fallen comrade Edward R. Connolly, the first Boston firefighter to be killed on duty in five years.
Connolly, 46, died Friday after a tree stump fell on him as he battled a nine-alarm blaze in South Boston.
