Marriott Seeking 2nd Site in Valley
Marriott Corp. is looking for a site in the west San Fernando Valley for one of its lower-priced Courtyard hotels. The hotel would be three or four stories high and would have about 145 rooms, expected to cost $45 to $65 a night, the company said.
“We’re interested in Warner Center, but we don’t have any properties tied down yet,” said Jack Bloodworth, regional director of real estate for the Courtyard chain in Southern California.
Marriott last week officially opened a 17-story, 473-room hotel in Warner Center, its first in the San Fernando Valley.
