George Weissman, former chairman of Philip Morris Cos., has been elected chairman of Lincoln Center Inc. in New York, the umbrella organization for its 10 performing groups, including the Metropolitan Opera and New York Philharmonic. Weissman succeeds Martin E. Segal, who resigned.
