Poll Shows 33% of Homes in Peking Have Color TV

PEKING — One-third of Peking households now have color television, compared with less than 2% four years ago, the official New China News Agency reported Sunday.
The report said the figure is based on a sample survey of 1,000 households in the capital, where more than 5.5 million people live.
