Former LSU football star Dave McCormick, 42, died, apparently of a heart attack, while jogging near his home in Rayville, La. McCormick played three years in the National Football League--the 1966 season with the San Francisco 49ers and the 1967 and 1968 seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
