Oscar-winning actor Timothy Hutton and twice-nominated actress Debra Winger were married over the weekend in the scenic coastal area of Big Sur, the couple announced Monday.
Hutton, 25, won the best supporting actor Oscar in 1980 for “Ordinary People.” Winger, 30, was nominated for her roles in “An Officer and a Gentleman” and “Terms of Endearment.”
It was the first marriage for both. Winger had been romantically linked to Gov. Robert Kerrey of Nebraska, but broke off their romance about a year ago.
