Sacramento 91, Pasadena City 89--Sophomore Rhodney Moore made a 15-foot baseline jump shot at the buzzer to beat the Lancers. The winning shot came after Danny Scott missed a free throw with eight seconds left that would have given Pasadena (23-11) the lead.
