Philippine President Corazon Aquino is considering proclaiming a revolutionary government to force out officials appointed by Ferdinand E. Marcos, her deposed predecessor, spokesman Rene Saguisag said. Addressing about 5,000 women celebrating International Women’s Day, Aquino said she plans soon to announce price cuts on unspecified goods. She appealed for “a little more patience and understanding” from the Philippine people.
