Local News in Brief : Coroner Names Driver Who Died in Collision

A 43-year-old man, who was killed Saturday when he lost control of his flatbed truck and collided with another vehicle on a remote highway near the Angeles National Forest, has been identified as Thomas Watson of Saugus, a spokeswoman for the coroner’s office said Sunday.
The accident occurred at Davenport Road and Sierra Highway north of Canyon Country at about 6 p.m.
