Unofficial Israeli Trade With Lebanon Growing

ROSH HANIKRA, Israel — Unofficial Israeli exports to Lebanon have risen by 20% in the last six months, an Industry and Trade Ministry official said Thursday.
The official said that Lebanese merchants cross regularly into Israel to buy food, cooking oil, electronic equipment and paper. Some Israeli goods are shipped from a small illegal port in Naqoura in southern Lebanon to the north, he said.
