Finance Planning, Day Care Benefits Rare, Study Finds

CLEVELAND — Few American companies provide employee benefits for day care, financial planning or club-recreation memberships, according to a survey by Management Recruiters International.
Only a third of the 1,979 companies polled offer at least one of the three benefits.
The most popular of these is recreation-exercise facility or club membership, followed in turn by financial planning and day care.
“Large companies, by a bettor than two-2-to-1 margin, are more apt. to provide at least one of the three benefits,” the firm said.
“About half the companies with a work force of more than 1,000 employees offer at least one of these benefits, contrasted with benefits, contrasted with benefits given by 22$ of companies with fewer than 100 employees.”
