TUCSON — A stunt crew car slipped on a dangerous winding mountain highway during the filming of a chase scene for a movie today, injuring seven people, four seriously, the sheriff’s office said.
All the victims, working on a Turbo Productions film entitled “Race,” were taken to Tucson Medical Center, Sgt. Kathleen Brennan said. Two were hurt critically, and another two are listed as serious. Whether the car went over the edge of steep and rugged Mt. Lemmon is not known but at least one of the victims did, Brennan said.
