Boeing Names Chief Executive
Boeing Co. announced that its president, Frank Shrontz, 55, will take on additional duties as chief executive April 28, the date of the Seattle-based company’s annual meeting. He will succeed T. A. Wilson, who will remain chairman. Wilson turned 65 this month.
Shrontz, who has been with Boeing since 1958, except for stints as assistant secretary of the Air Force and assistant secretary of defense from 1973 to 1976, was named president a year ago.
