All About Airports
I find Peter Greenberg’s article on airports oddly archaic. Viewing the realities of modern European travel, I’m not at all interested in the comforts afforded by the airport at which I arrive or depart. If I’m still crazy enough to want to go there, the only thing about European airports that interests me is the odds of coming out alive. The energy expended in making airports more attractive or convenient, or installing bistros, shopping centers, rose gardens and beauty salons would be much better spent installing bullet-proof glass.
Why don’t you publish a security or a safety rating on airports? That, I think, would be much more helpful.
