Chapman College Loses in Volleyball

UC Santa Barbara rolled past Chapman College, 3-0, Saturday in a men’s volleyball match at Hutton Sports Center in Orange. The Gauchos, ranked eighth in the nation, improved to 7-3; the Panthers dropped to 0-5.

UCSB was led by Scott Drake, who scored 8 points on serves, and Chip Hord and Lee Nelson, who had 7 kills each. Chapman’s Ben Schmidt had a game-high 11 kills.
