Cagle Named President of Irvine Firm

Oliver B. Cagle has been named president of Barratt Irvine, a division of Barratt American Inc., Irvine, according to John S. R. Swanson, chairman of the wholly owned subsidiary of Barratt Developments, Britain’s largest home building company.
Cagle joined Barratt American in 1984 from Campeau Corp. California, a subsidiary of Campeau Corp. of Canada, where he was senior director and general manager.
In his more than 23 years in the building industry, the 40-year-old Cagle has also been associated with Broadmoor Development, Broadmoor Homes and Anaheim Hills Inc.
Cagle will be responsible for the overall management of the Irvine division’s building activities in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, including the Creekside Communities in the Inland Empire area.
