Gas Still Leaking From Pipeline

A methane gas cloud continued to rise today from a Carson pipeline leak, after all efforts to stem the flow failed, county fire officials reported.
The leak, discovered Thursday afternoon at the Compton-based Dominguez Energy Co.’s Victoria Street line, has not caused any injuries or evacuations, but fire, health, air quality and Red Cross officials will remain on the scene until the leak is capped.
