A martial arts expert once given an award for saving a young boy’s life was sentenced in Washington, Pa., to die in the electric chair for the karate murders of three elderly women from whom he stole a car, jewelry and credit cards. Roland Steele, 39, was found guilty in the June 21 slayings of Lucille Horner, 88, Minnie Warrick, 87, and Sara Knuta, 84.
