Baker International Corp.’s senior debt rating has been restored to a single A-plus by the Standard & Poor’s rating service. The senior debt of the company’s finance unit was also given a single A-plus. S&P; also removed the company’s paper from its credit watch surveillance list where it was placed last Sept. 30. S&P; cited profit-making performance of the Orange-based oil-drilling equipment maker in the depressed oil market for the upgraded ratings.
