Skier Christina Putz, who was hospitalized in a coma after falling during a World Cup downhill race three weeks ago, has regained consciousness and is making satisfactory progress in Innsbruck, Austria, according to her mother, Elizabeth Putz.
Putz fell Dec. 12 at Val d’Isere, France, after losing her balance two-thirds of the way down the course.
