X-rays taken of Laker forwards Kurt Rambis and Maurice Lucas and guard Ronnie Lester proved negative and all received clearance to resume practice with the team.

Rambis has a sprained back and Lucas a sprained right middle finger. An arthrogram performed on Lester’s left knee failed to reveal a cartilage tear as originally feared.
