As 1986 Rose Queen, Aimee Lynn Richelieu will have a busy day Wednesday. In the morning, she’ll ride in the 97th Tournament of Roses Parade down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, then attend the Rose Bowl game between UCLA and Iowa that afternoon. With both of those events covered on television, she’ll be seen by folks ‘round the world.
The parade theme this year is “A Celebration of Laughter” and the grand marshal is humor columnist Erma Bombeck.
