Lakers’ Offense Should Get Well at Sacramento
The Lakers will play their first game ever in California’s capital city tonight when they face the Sacramento Kings at 7:30.
Formerly of Kansas City, the Kings moved to Sacramento after last season. The change of scenery has not helped the team’s performance, as the Kings are in last place in the NBA’s Midwest Division with a record of 9-20.
The Lakers, despite scoring fewer than 100 points in two straight games for the first time this season, have the NBA’s best record with a 24-4 mark. Los Angeles’ offense figures to get on track tonight against Sacramento, which has one of the league’s poorer defenses.
