Fumes Nauseate Kitchen Workers: Firefighters, summoned to a kitchen in the Meridien Hotel near John Wayne Airport about 2 a.m. Friday, were unable to find the source of noxious fumes that had caused eight kitchen employees to complain of respiratory difficulty and nausea. The eight employees were taken to hospitals and were treated and released, a Fire Department spokesman said.
