A van carrying 18 farm workers went out of control and overturned on California 33 north of Coalinga, injuring 15 of the workers, three of them seriously. California Highway Patrol officers said the driver lost control of the van, which was carrying onion pickers from Coalinga to the Three Rocks area, when he failed to slow for a curve in dense fog. Officers said that except for the three badly hurt, others in the van suffered only minor cuts, scrapes and bruises.
