Is it fair for us to consume oil and gas pumped from somebody else’s back yard when we have oil and gas in our own back yard?
Is it smart for us to send our dollars overseas when our national debt and trade deficit are threatening our economy?
Sure we want to protect our California coastline. It is the best place in the world to live. But the thrust of your article should be about protective measures that still utilize our own resources.
