Fog Cloaks Chinese City

PEKING — The thickest fog in 11 years has enveloped the central city of Xian, the New China News Agency reported Wednesday. Because of the fog, which descended on the city Monday, air traffic has been suspended, and people have been walking to work instead of riding bicycles because of low visibility.
