BIG DEAL POP ANNEX : WHAT A POP WORLD

Though a lot of great musicians were overlooked, there is one musician who I would have put in the Top 10: Howard Jones.
Jones’ second album, “Dream Into Action,” has sold over 2 million copies, and he is an exceptional live performer. He is a superb songwriter, and is also a healthy, mature, intelligent and extremely creative artist whose biggest advantage probably is his tremendous theatrical presence.
If these executives are stupid enough to put dull, unexciting Whitney Houston before such superstars as Dire Straits, Phil Collins and Julian Lennon, well, I can understand how they could have overlooked Howard Jones.
