Heiress Martha von Bulow in Coma for Five Years

NEWPORT, R. I. — Today is the fifth anniversary of the day Martha (Sunny) von Bulow, 53, a Pittsburgh utilities heiress, lapsed into a deep coma that doctors say is irreversible. She lies in a New York hospital bed.
Her husband, Claus, 58, was first convicted and then acquitted of trying to kill her with insulin.
