Motorola filed a $30-million suit against Mostek.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Dallas, claims patent infringement by Mostek Corp. and asks that the sale of Mostek by United Technologies to a French company be annulled. Motorola claims that Mostek and United Technologies used Motorola’s patented 68000 microchip technology to develop products but did not pay licensing fees. United Technologies sold most of Mostek’s assets to Paris-based Thomson-CSF last month.
