Chapman Takes On Biola in Rematch
For the second time in less than two weeks, the Chapman College men’s basketball team will face Biola College when the Panthers host the Eagles tonight at 7:30 at Hutton Sports Center.
Chapman (2-2) opened its season Nov. 22 with a 63-60 overtime victory over Biola in the first round of the Southern Utah State College Tip Off Tournament. Sophomore center Kelly Huston had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers.
Since then, Chapman has lost two games by a total of six points (Southern Utah State and UC Davis) before edging Cal Lutheran, 69-65, Saturday night.
Biola went 29-4 last season en route to the NAIA District III North championship. The Eagles are led by returning starters Barry Barnes, a 5-10 senior guard, and Joe Hutt, a 6-5 senior forward.
