Oden Leads Pacific to PCAA Volleyball Title

STOCKTON — Freshman Elaina Oden recorded 17 kills and senior Therese Boyle added 15 Sunday as the University of Pacific topped Hawaii, 15-13, 9-15, 15-10, 15-12, in the championship match of the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball tournament.
Oden, from Irvine High School, also had nine blocks and was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
The victory raised Pacific’s record to 32-3 while Hawaii fell to 27-12.
