Gandhi Invites Zia To View Nuclear Reactor

TOKYO — Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi said his country has nothing to hide about its nuclear program, and he has invited Pakistani President Zia ul-Haq to the opening of a nuclear reactor this month.
Gandhi told the Japan National Press Club on Saturday that the invitation was issued because Zia’s visit to India on Dec. 16 coincides with the inauguration of the plant.
