Draper Avenue will be blocked off for a party from 5 to 8 p.m., and a 15-foot Christmas tree will be lighted at 6 p.m.
Retired Army Brig. Gen. Alan R. Toffler will be military marshal. Bob Barrymore, president of the La Jolla Historical Society, and his wife, June, will be civic marshals. Mary Rose Alexander, president of the Associated Students at the University of California, San Diego, will be education marshal.
