Pacific Eliminates UCI in Volleyball
UC Irvine lost to the University of Pacific, 15-12, 15-3, 15-13 Friday in the opening round of the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. Volleyball Tournament in Stockton.
Senior Cindy Rohrig, second team all-PCAA, led the Anteaters in kills with 14. Amy Warmus had 7 kills and was 24 of 84 setting for a .274 average for UCI.
UCI ended its season 1-16 in the PCAA and 9-18 overall. The Tigers, ranked third in the nation, are 16-1 in the PCAA and 30-3 overall.
