Sophomore Lorenzo White of Michigan State, the nation’s top rusher, and Napoleon McCallum, Navy’s all-time ground gainer, were also named to the backfield of the oldest All-America team in the nation.
Wide receiver David Williams of Illinois and tackle Larry Station of Iowa were named to the team for a second straight year in balloting by coaches and sports information directors.
