AIA Beats Marquette

Center Paul Renfro scored 20 points, and guard Lorenzo Romar added 19 Saturday night to lead the Athletes in Action to a 80-71 win over Marquette at Milwaukee. AIA forward Michael Wiley scored 18 points to help AIA improve to 6-4.
Marquette, playing its first game of the season, was led by Kerry Trotter’s 21 points and David Boone’s 17 points and 17 rebounds.
AIA will play at Illinois Monday night and Nevada-Las Vegas Tuesday before returning to San Diego to face San Diego State Wednesday night in the Sports Arena.
