UNAMAZING STORY

For those of you following Steven Spielberg’s exploits in Televisionland, here’s how his “Amazing Stories” has been rating on NBC since its premiere Sept. 29: 12th, 23rd, 36th, 41st and 14th (the hourlong “The Mission” episode that he directed himself Nov. 3). The two episodes last week ran 34th (Sunday) and 40th (Tuesday).

Of the 71 shows airing this season, it ranks 28th in ratings.
