S.D.-Based Sailor in Oregon Lottery Finale

SALEM, Ore. — A crew member of the amphibious transport dock ship Duluth, which is based in San Diego, has been selected as one of 10 finalists for the $6.4-million Oregon lottery jackpot.
Jose C. Go, a Navy cook, was selected by lottery officials Wednesday and will spin the jackpot wheel Saturday in Salem during a videotaping at a television studio.
The Duluth is being overhauled at a Portland ship repair yard.
Each contestant is guaranteed a minimum prize of $5,000.
