Weapons Violations Denied: Three Orange County men have pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles to charges of possessing unregistered weapons. Michael Butler and Ronald Zorola, of Santa Ana, and Stephen Johnston of Costa Mesa were indicted last month after an Oct. 17 raid on a Santa Ana home by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents. Government investigators found a cache of guns and silencers, according to the indictment. U.S. District Judge David V. Kenyon set trial for Dec. 10.
