Man Slain on Street; Suspect Held

A 29-year-old man was killed by a shotgun blast on a South Los Angeles sidewalk Saturday morning and another man was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder.
A Los Angeles police spokesman said Gregory Fisher, 29, was shot at about 6:40 a.m. and died in the 1400 block of East 108th St. Matthew C. Gardner, 23, was arrested at the scene of the shooting.
The two men reportedly had been involved in a dispute over money.
