GLENFED Development Corp., the residential building subsidiary of Glendale Federal Savings, plans to build Beachport Village, a $25-million, 4.65-acre condominium development in Playa del Rey.
The project will be the second major development for the Encino-based company in the Playa del Rey area. The 262-unit SeaGate Village sold out a year ago.
Clark & Hedrick, Los Angeles, is architect for the project, which will have 180 units in a mix of flats and town houses with Cape Cod exterior styling. Prices will start at about $110,000 and sizes will range from 765 to 1,415 square feet.
