Police have recovered jewelry stolen from the Lakers’ locker room during a National Basketball Assn. game in Dallas.
Police said Thursday that a Cartier watch, valued at about $1,000, belonged to Laker star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and that a necklace belonged to Byron Scott.
A 21-year-old ball boy for the Dallas Mavericks has admitted taking the items.
The items were reported missing shortly after Tuesday night’s game between the Lakers and Mavericks at Reunion Arena.
