CSUN Nips Cal Poly in Volleyball
Cal State Northridge rebounded from a one-game deficit Wednesday night to record a 12-15, 15-11, 9-15, 15-11, 15-2 California Collegiate Athletic Assn. womens volleyball victory over Cal Poly Pomona before a crowd of 527 at Cal Poly.
CSUN, ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II, improved its record to 17-9 overall and 7-0 in the CCAA. Cal Poly, ranked fourth, fell to 23-8 and 6-2.
Senior Heather Hafner paced the Lady Matadors with 18 kills, 3 aces and 12 digs. Teammate Shelli Mosby had a .390 setting percentage and a .454 kill percentage.
