More than 70 grams of cocaine were seized and 17 suspected drug dealers arrested in a raid on a Pasadena neighborhood plagued by narcotics trafficking. Undercover police officers seized 74 grams of mostly crystallized chunks of cocaine, with a street value of $18,000, police spokesman Mike Guerin said. The arrests marked the end of a six-month investigation. Search warrants were served at seven homes in a four-square-block neighborhood in northwest Pasadena that has been targeted by drug dealers for several years. Guerin said 11 men, 5 women and a 16-year-old girl were booked on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale. About 75 grams of marijuana and eight handguns were also confiscated.
