Single-Family Dwellings Open in Palmdale
A 200-square-foot bonus room that can be completed as a guest bedroom, hobby room, office or whatever the owner wants, is a part of each single-family home at MoonFlower, holding its formal opening this weekend in Palmdale.
The homes are offered in one single-story and two two-story floor plans, all with three bedrooms, ranging from 1,300 to 1,557 square feet on lots ranging from 7,000 to 8,000 square feet. Move-ins are expected to begin in October for the first increment of 33 homes (26 have been sold) of the eventual 86-unit project.
Homes are priced from $91,950 to $99,950. Bond financing at a 10.35% fixed-interest rate for 30 years is available with down payments of 5%; veterans may move in for as little as $1,870.
Standard features include tiled entries, kitchens with luminous ceilings, ceramic-tile counters and oak cabinets, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, skylights and eating areas in kitchens. Front-yard landscaping includes shrubs and sprinklers.
The three furnished models will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. this weekend and thereafter until 6 p.m. except on Mondays and Fridays, when they will close at 8 p.m. The development is at the intersection of 20th Street East and Avenue R-8.
