KEY PLAYS

With a minute left in the game and Reseda trailing, 16-13, quarterback Daryl Mickens (R) took the ball on University’s 39-yard line and ran around the left end for 24 yards . . . On the next play, Mickens connected with wide receiver Rod Wells on a 15-yard touchdown pass for the winning score . . . A minute earlier, University fullback Amani Davis broke through the Regent defense for a 48-yard gain . . . Three plays later, quarterback John Moomaw scored on a two-yard run.

KEY PLAYERS

Quarterback Daryl Mickens (R), completed 13 of 19 for 212 yards passing and two touchdowns. William Harris (U) ran 16 times for 133 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown. Tight end David Wilson (R) caught five passes for 119 yards, including a 72-yard TD pass from Mickens. Reseda’s secondary--Marcus Moore, Tony Gilmore, Marcus Coleman and Patrick Barron--held University quarterback John Moomaw to 49 yards passing on 13 attempts and one interception.
