Man Dies of Auto Accident Injuries

A San Clemente man died Thursday of injuries he suffered in a Sept. 8 automobile accident in El Toro, Orange County coroner’s officials said.
Carlo Bocci, 71, suffered internal injuries when his car collided with another auto on Trabuco Road about a quarter of a mile north of Via del Rio, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. Bocci died at 12:48 p.m. Thursday at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo.
Bocci’s wife, Maria Bocci, suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Another passenger, Gladys Buonsignone, 86, also of San Clemente, was seriously injured in the accident but has since been discharged from the same hospital.
The driver of the other car was not hurt. No citations were issued.
